Beef Profit Partnerships
Beef Profit Partnerships - Beef CRC - Beef Genetic Technologies
The Beef CRC is committed to growing the profitability of the Australian beef industry. A major strategy of the CRC is to establish a network of Beef Profit Partnership (BPP) teams across Australia, made up of people interested in improving the profitability of their beef businesses. The initial target of BPP is to achieve an additional 5% improvement in annual business profit within two years. BPPs have already been formed throughout Australia New Zealand, with more in the pipeline. Each team has the support of specialist expertise to guide and assist members. These BPP teams will meet on a regular basis to focus on opportunities to improve profit and take action to implement some of these opportunities in their businesses. BPPs are targeting measurable improvements in individual business profit and regional industry growth. BPP members are supported to track changes in the key drivers of profit (costs, price and throughput), and in those productivity indicators most relevant to their own business improvement, for example, growth rate, reproduction rate and market compliance. |
